Ok I need you guys' help.
Pagne and Devin both know I have a passionate hatred for Disney's online services. They've screwed me over on several occassions. One time being that I spent years & lots of money getting collectible cards IN Disneyland for their Magic Kingdom Online game. I stopped playing for a year and I came back my account had been deleted because they claimed my account was fake and used only for collecting objects, which is total bullshit cause I spent hours on their playing mini games and talking to people. I still haven't gotten over that one.
Here's the problem I'm having though, I think I want to play Toontown online again but I hate them so much I don't know if I want to give them my money again...
Here's the background story...I beta tested Toontown online and played it for many years, it broke one day and everytime I emailed them for help I got auto responses with answers like "Restart your computer". I soon found out that they have no real customer service, only auto responses. When I got fed up I emailed them for like the 10th time and said "The damn game won't work so why am I paying for it?!". I get a response saying that they're a family company that doesn't respond to profanity and my account is now under review for deletion because I said "damn". I decide at this point to just let it go and fix it myself, which I did. I decide after 4 years it's time I stop playing "Nelly" and start a new character named "Chanelly". Well my name was denied by Toontown online because it was not deemed appropriate for gameplay, now what the fuck? I lost it, I sent email after email asking them why my own name coupled with a name that's already been approved can't be allowed and I got only auto responses saying "Because we can". Disney also has no customer service line so there's no way to get help if you have a problem. So I sent 3 copies of the same complaint letter to Disney, Disneyland, & Disneyworld hoping to get a real person to see how terrible their customer service is. I actually got a reply back from a real person at Disneyland, it was an apology letter but that's it. They never fixed it and their customer service still never gave me a real answer, so I canceled my account after god knows how much money I gave them over the years.
I was looking at Toontown online's website yesterday and they've added so much cool shit to the game but I'm still so pissed at them, they totally don't deserve my money. Should I play it again or not? Would you?
