I recommend Jonathan Coulton for his breakout awesome work on the game Portal, with his hit song "Still Alive."

Zomg I want that game so bad! I bought Simcity Societies the other day and my computer won't run it. I've finally come to the point where I can't put off getting a new computer anymore.

Which btw, would anyone like to buy my copy of Simcity Societies off me for $30? I already opened it so I can't take it back. :(

Dammit Nelly, Why is it supposed to be better? I love SimCity games, but I didn't hear much about that one which is why I've not bought it.

Also, you'll need to upgrade your PC before you can play The Orange Box as well... and if you're doing that already, no need to sell the simcity game.

I don't see myself having extra money for a computer for a long time. I wish I hadn't quit my job. :(

If I had control over my own thread I would delete all posts not relating to music, but relating to games that I don't play. Even this one.

I one time made a list of 100 songs that everyone should know and love once. I have to find that...

I'll see if I can allow people to delete posts in threads they made. Don't know if that's an option though. I'll get back to you.

That would be most excellent. But I really don't mind a good tangent every now and again. Tangents are the spice of life, that's the saying ... right?

No I couldn't seem to find an option for that but me and all the other mods can delete posts, you'd just have to ask one of us to do it first.

I am loathe to post my favorite music selections, as my choices had skewed so far out there lately. But, I can say my favorite way to discover/acquire new music is to tab between Pandora and PirateBay.

@ Tetsuro: I don't dare post half of the stuff that I am listening to because it is weird or strange or takes some getting used to. This is kind of a place for classics that are always good. And sadly a lot of people don't know songs like Sun Ain't Gonna Shine by the Walker Brothers. Or they have heard them before but don't know them by heart. These are "know them by heart" kind of songs, to me.

Plus I don't know PirateBay, I'll have to check it out.

YOU DON'T KNOW PIRATEBAY??!?!!?

They are singlehandedly fighting, with their own legal team, to secure our rights to pirate shit! They survived a full on US Intelligencia raid in their home country! You should know who they are TODAY, sir!

The ending song to Portal.

Also, TROGDOOOOOOOORRRR!
TROGDOOOOOOORRRR!
Trogdor was a man.
I mean, he was a dragon man.
Or maybe he was just a dragon.
But he was still TROGDOOOOORRRRR!
TROGDOOOOORRRR!
