Are you saying we're a 70's mall that is badly in need of updated redecorating? Are you saying the forums have popcorn ceilings?

I love to scrutinize mall scenes in movies from the early 80's. Fast Times has a few good ones, as does this movie by David Byrne set in Texas that i can't think of the name of right now. The clothes, hair styles, and people are funny, but so too are the store fronts. It's interesting to see The Gap's store front from then and compare it to today.

The mall that Bill and Ted go to in Excellent Adventure is in Phoenix. The ice skating rink is gone now but I still have scar on my foot from when I dropped an ice skate on it there. Also "Waterloo" is called "Sunsplash", we all just went and played mini golf there last week.

Nelly and I were raised at the mall in the 80s. So 80s mall movies bring me back to childhood.

We spent a lot of time in malls in the 80's as well. We went there to eat dinner. It was perfect because everyone could get what they want. And not every restaurant had free refills on beverages back then, but you could get your sodas at Taco bell in the mall and have all the free refills you wanted. You could even do a couple of laps around the mall and get a refill before you left. It kinda sucked carrying around the cup the whole time though.
